Dr. Sara Viernes has been working in the dental field since 1993. She began working as a dental assistant in a family practice dental office in Idaho during her undergraduate education. Her experience in the dental field led her to choose dentistry as her career path.
She began working for Indiana University School of Dentistry Oral Facial Development Clinics in 1995, as a undergraduate student, and decided her passion was in treating children. Dr. Sara graduated from IU School of Dentistry in 2002, and sought opportunities to practice dentistry among children as a General Dentist.
“Children’s dentistry is the beginning of the dental experience, what we create here, in this dental experience, can easily determine a child’s perception of dentistry for a lifetime.” Dr. Sara has a strong commitment to promoting oral health through education in her community.
She is an active participant in Indiana’s Dental Advisory Panel on Oral Health issues among children utilizing Indiana Medicaid Services.
Dr. Olabi obtained his Doctor Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana School of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency at Wishard Memorial Hospital.
He studied at Riley Children’s Hospital received his certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and his Master’s Degree is Pediatrics Dentistry.
Dr. Olabi’s mission statement is simple: “We at Eagle Creek Children’s Dentistry strive to treat every child as one of our own.”
